Of Monday blues, Botchan and Freestyle II photobook...
Okay here are the things. MONDAY BLUES. Everyone had it and that was what I felt yesterday. The expected weekday have arrived which forcing me going back to work, killing all the joys. As a result----> no motivation to work xD. So, to regain all the joys, I would be going out for a joyride after work. A joyride towards a place that I aimed for since Saturday. A bookstore.

Therefore, I was thinking to buy myself a novel, let it be specific, Japanese-English-translation novel, okay to be more specific it's a Arashi-related- kind of drama-adapted novel, oh come on , I'll tell you the truth, its actually a BOTCHAN novel! Honestly, I am not a bookworm (exception is given for fanfiction because I am indeed a fanfiction worm ;). The sole purpose of dragging my two feet to go to a bookstore either to buy stationeries or reference books for my students. No more than that. Buuuuttt..The BOTCHAN novel is different. Not because of I am  an Arashi fans but because of the plot and nino. The plot's intrigued me to read whats the story is all about. Having noticed that this was one of the most popular novel in Japan, reading by many Japanese during their school year, so why not?

At first, I was considering to buy it online because you know how lazy I'd be to go to the bookstore just for the sake of buying one freaking book and had to think of squeezing myself inside a car with all the traffic congestion. Oh, definitely a no! So searching through KINOKUNIYA online was the best result to avoid that and I found Bothchan's with different printed covers and of course with different in price. Checking all the prices and the book covers and still not clicking the "proceed to payment" because I need to check the latest Japs mags. Why? Hoping to see Jun or Nino nonno magazine..haha..but instead I found riida's Freestyle II photobook (displaying as the monthly bestseller book under "Hobby. Practical" section). Ohkay, checking the price and swallowing my saliva. *gulp* . Its not about how expensive the price was. Actually, it was at a reasonable price but I couldnt afford it just yet. ;D So I had to say bye-bye for ohno's photobook. ;p. So ready to proceed for the payment but suddenly I remembered whether the price of buying online and buying in a retail bookstore was the same? My instict said to let go of online puchasing and try my luck buying it straight from Kino. Such dedication! xD

and yesterday I was in Kino, which obviously the-not-so-bookworm-of-me would not  get to find the BOTCHAN straightaway. I need a helper from the "searching book compuer system" where it displayed all the shelves' location and its availability. To my surprise most of the BOTCHAN printed were out of stock including the one that I aimed for. Crazeehh! Must be Malaysian Arashians bought them though ;p. Only one printed was in stock but the price was beyond my *cough* budget. Nevertheless, I'm still wanted to, at least to take a look at that BOTCHAN novel that was the only one left, to buy or not to buy was another matter xD. Searching shelves by shelves and guess what? I found two BOTCHAN's titles with different printed cover (including the one that I aimed for! Yeay!) Grab that one and headed to the cashier. But lo and behold, still remember NONNO magazine? haha..then with full of Arashi fans spirit I dashed to Japanese book sections, scanning all those displayed mags and I found none for Arashi even none for Jun and Nino. Only V6 as 24hr tv personality mags were available.

Not to waste my time, I made a quick tour at the other sections as well before proceed with the payment..On
the first five steps fom the mags section, the faith encounter happened where I found Ohno's photobook. It was nicely displayed. Oh my heart is going to burst! haha. Checking the book and taking a quick look at the price, my heart crushed. (it was more expensive than the online T_T). While placing back the book to the shelf, I read a sticker on the upper right corner of the book that written as "20% discount of this item with purchase of ANOTHER item of any value in a single receipt on the same day". Aha! This is fantastic! I could afford this! Taking back the book from the shelf, hugging it and dashed to the cashier. Maaann, why I would not notice the sticker at first?? *facepalm* Glad I bought it waayyyy cheaper than online and waayyy cheaper than CDJapan ;))).

and....Tadaaa!!

*Two precious items for now*
*Botchan is still in the wrapping state because I'm planning to read during the school holiday and yes, I've fallen in love with BOTCHAN's cover and the Japanese clogs. So traditionally classic*
I went to Kino with my friend and she was full of curiousity as to why did I buy the photobook. Explaining to her wasnt enough and she needed to see all those wonderful artworks made by Ohno. So, I had to unwrap the plastic (thats explain why the sticker wasnt there) while we were having our dinner. This friend is not a fangirl but she 's indeed a K-drama and J-drama addict. But mostly she's fancy of K-drama. ;p. So while browsing over the photobook with a serious expression, she encountered this particular page....
and she was gawking like really huge gawking pointing his finger to Ohno and  said "Eh? Was this the one who acted in Maou? The lawyer one, the lawyer one rightttttt???" and I am proudly nodded. haha. I was  the one who gave Maou drama to her since she preferred mysterious J-drama. I forgot to tell her that this lawyer is actually an idol and have a group called Arashi. After heard my explanation, she responded "Aahh, no wonder you once told me about this Arashi and that Arashi and I was like whatever~~ Oh my god Syida! I watched Maou twice okay, because it was indeed a good drama,  I liked this lawyer guy character and tsk, tsk, tsk! I couldnt believe he made all of these artwork? Such details and beautiful artwork!" *shaking her head* hahaha..
Nothing to say because that was what I felt too ;) and believed me watching Maou twice was not enough. It beyonds those countings ;))

*There's a pamphlet of Ohno's fave masterpiece. A seahorse*.

*Spotted SATOSHI in number 3104?*

*This is a reeaally creative way of drawing I LOVE YOU as the seahorse nose? mouth? lol

Among my fave of his artworks....

*Seeing Ohno's in one of the pug's eyes. Ohno and his beyond imagination~~*

*You can see a tiny Ohno look alike miniture with Mt. Fuji as the background. Kireii~*

*I told you straight that these two artworks are my most favourite among favourite-lists. The pictures that I uploaded didnt do the justice, I know, but I tell you that the veil is beautifully cascading out of the frame. And the left one is a fish-alike I think? with Ohno's-miniture as the face, the colourful clothes as the fish body and the veil as the tail which is also beautifully cascading out of the frame. Both are good, creative 3D-artwork ;D

*The second book cover*

*Members' drawing of Ohno. SAKURAIBA on the left side and MATSUMIYA on the right side*

*SPECIAL THANKS to the members that made me went "Auwww Ohchan! You're so loved" *

*This ojisan is so down to earth together with a great artisitc talent accompanied by weirdly wonderful imagination. Yup, thats OHNO SATOSHI, a leader of ARASHI <3*

And no to forget, its 11th August today which happens to be a Mountain Day a.k.a. YAMA Day in every Arashi fans mind, so....

HAPPY YAMA DAY to both men which mutual respect and admiration towards each other keeps their friendship beautiful and full of laughter. ;)

and to Nino, I'm looking forward to your BOTCHAN drama and cant wait to read the novel ;))

and whoever happens to read this, I'm apologizing for the long yet full of grammatical errors kind of post! haha ;D

Ja, mata ne
-THE END-

Yes, lucky! ;)) Will pm u the price dearr ;)
Yes botchan! The theme is more like a morality and sarcasm..Just read a blurb at the back of the book and its said about a young master who is a mischievous boy and seeking for his parents' attention. And the best thing is he has a sharp tongue (like to blurt out snarky remarks and calling nicknames..This BOTCHAN character is sooo like NINO ;D
